THE IAMG PRIVACY POLICY

Updated in compliance to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation; LINK).

The IAMG take members’ privacy seriously. We will only use the information members and newsletter subscribers have provided in support of the legitimate interests of the organization. We will collect, hold and use the following:

  • Name
  • Post/position/appointment (optional)
  • E-mail address(es).

Members’ and subscribers’ details are not shared with any third parties.

We do not use automated profiling or sorting of personal data and it will never be shared with any external marketing organisations.

We will retain your data for as long as members/subscribers subscribe to the organisation or until members/subscribers ask us to delete their personal data.

Members/subscribers may withdraw their consent to data provided by them at any time by writing to us, with proof of identity, identifying the data to be removed. In the event of withdrawing consent, the member/subscriber should contact the Association Secretary.

Members or subscribers who wish to complain about any aspect of how we process personal data should get in touch, in the first instance, with the Secretary or should an adequate response not be received, then the President.

Should a member or subscriber wish to take further action, the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/global/contact-us/helpline/  will be able to assist.
