14-18 La Terre et le Feu-1 – Link for book flier (in French)

The Association des Géologues du Bassin de Paris (AGBP), the Comité Français d’Histoire de la Géologie (COFRHIGEO) and the Société Géologique du Nord (SGN) have made a book entitled 14-18 : La Terre et le Feu, géologie et géologues sur le front occidental. This book, which has been awarded the label of the Mission du Centenaire of the Ministry of Defence, and is now part of the official celebrations, is placed under the patronage of the French Académie des Sciences and the Delegation of the French Republic to Unesco.
Some British prominent authors in the field of War Geology such as Peter Doyle and Ted Rose, as well as Andrew Morrison and David Bate of the BGS have written chapters of this book.
This book is due end 2018 and is available at a subscription price of 28 € (postage and packing 8 €) until October 15th, 2018.
